What is Dorna Kids?
Dorna Kids is an expansion tailored specifically for children aged 3β9. Based on the core pillars of Dorna Music & Arts, we provide a brave space for cultural discovery. Using the Orff Schulwerk method and perception science, we transition children from passive listening to active exploration.

Children’s Music Workshop

Parisa Daneshvar: Parisa Daneshvar is a professional musician, performer, educator, and music therapist based in Seattle, WA. Hailing from a musical family, Parisaβs extensive background in Persian Classical Music included Radif and Dastgah (melody and mode) training from some of the most influential musical masters of the era, now synthesizing that experience with her own voice as a mentor to students aged 3 to 80 and everywhere in-between. An accomplished Ney player and savvy pianist, Parisa has received awards and accolades for her inspired performance history both in her native Iran and her adopted home in the United States. An active music therapist, Parisa offers one-on-one patient interactions, in addition to small- and large-group therapeutic sessions employing musical activities to guide, develop, and harmonize individuals and improve their emotional, physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.

A deep dive into Saint-SaΓ«ns' famous suite. Students will analyze how different instruments represent different animals and create artwork corresponding to each movement.

Through a joyful spring-themed story, children will explore nature, imagination, and new beginnings, then create a flower-inspired art project connected to the story.
Past Vivaldi’s Seasons in Art
April 18, 2026
Using Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons' as a backdrop, students will translate auditory cues into visual sketches, exploring how music can represent nature and weather.
Past Rhythm Adventure

An exploration of rhythmic patterns found in the works of Beethoven and Bach. The session highlights the Tombak (Persian goblet drum) to demonstrate cross-cultural percussion techniques.
