Parisa Daneshvar is a professional musician, performer, educator, and music therapist based in Seattle, WA. Hailing from a musical family, Parisa’s extensive background in Persian Classical Music included Radif and Dastgah (melody and mode) training from some of the most influential musical masters of the era, now synthesizing that experience with her own voice as a mentor to students aged 3 to 80 and everywhere in-between. An accomplished Ney player and savvy pianist, Parisa has received awards and accolades for her inspired performance history both in her native Iran and her adopted home in the United States. An active music therapist, Parisa offers one-on-one patient interactions, in addition to small- and large-group therapeutic sessions employing musical activities to guide, develop, and harmonize individuals and improve their emotional, physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.
